I don't see anything wrong with the schematics in your link
 

As mentioned by alexan, there is nothing wrong in the schematic. Did you check your hardware setup to ensure that you did as the schematic showed? Make sure that there is no miswiring, eg shorts between pins, etc.

You should post the code as the error is most likely in the code or fuse settings.
