Temperate measurement → FT232R + 1-Wire + PC + Delphi

This device shows how to connect a large number of temperature sensors like DS18x20 to a PC with Windows. The idea is quite obvious, it's shown on this schema:

This is ok, but who now has a COM port in PC. The connection must be made by an USB → COM converter based on FTDI chip like FT232R.

But this can't be connected like that, there must be a small buffer based on 2 transistors.



This thing will be used many times, therefore a component in Delphi was created.



Now writing any application is very easy. One is shown below:
