Any idea how to get correct GPS location.

AT+CGPSINFO gives me location in format:
+CGPSINFO:4618.898119,N,01620.072938,E,260911,215549.0,215.5,0

and if I take
4618.898119 and interpret as 46.18898119 (moved decimal point 2 digits left)
01620.072938 and interpret as 16.20072938

check on google maps: 46.18898119 16.20072938
and gives me wrong location - about 30-40km away from my current location...

It seems that offset is constant - so I guess I need to decode/interprete location?!?

Any thougts? Hints? Algorythm? Formula? ...something else? what I'm missing?

thnx in advance!

I believe:

4618.898119 => 46° 18' 53.88714" N or 46 Degrees, 18 Minutes and 53.88714 seconds North or 46.314969 N Decimal Form

01620.072938 => 16° 20' 4.37628" E or 16 Degrees, 20 Minutes and 4.37628 seconds East or 16.334549 E Decimal Form

See if these coordinates are closer to your local.

It seems that's it...

How did you get that from initial output?

Here's how you do it:
Latitude = 4618.898119 >>> In decimal = 46 + 18.898119/60 = 46.314969
Longitude = 01620.072938 >>> In decimal = 16 + 20.072938/60 = 16.334549

Salman
