Hi,

I need to calculate the output capacitance of a CPLD. I have seen Input capacitance specs in many data sheets, but not output capacitance. Can someone please explain how can we calculate this parameter ?

Thanks in Advance,
Subbu

Did you realize, that an output can only show a capacitance, if it's tri-stated? I reviewed some CPLD data sheets and found a specification in each case. In so far I wonder, if you have been looking for the right specification?

The devices I checked had both an input pin and I/O pin capacitance specification. The latter applies to a tri-stated output.
