The idea was to build something from nothing:
  • switch, socket, heatsink, fan from tl494 atx
  • casing made from an old drawer (stained and lacquered)
  • jack socket, banana sockets, potentiometers
  • wn transformers, wn wires from old TVs
  • magnetos from floppy drives sliders and an old timer
  • security holders

A irl510 was used. Instead of 5 coils, 10 were winded. The playing arc is about 2cm and with different tones 3cm. It's about 20-30kV of power.
Do not touch the electrodes! There was a small accident and it must be said that it hurts.
Placing materials between the electrodes can try the withstand breakdown voltage of it. The spark burns a 60-sheet notebook (tested).
