What does it mean by "Forced I/O", "DC Sink" & "DC Source" ?

DC Sink & DC Source not only labelled on the input Modules but also on the Output modules of Allen Bradley PLC, why is this so ?

Why does this labelled on a Output module of a PLC "Relays" ?
Is the output of that module acting as the input of the Relays or is that the output of the relays coming to this module ?

thanks

About sink and source in PLC
https://www.automationdirect.com/static/specs/sinksource.pdf

Forced I/O generally means that we can manually set or reset input/output bit to 1 or 0. (on/off)
This can be done with programming device, via inbuild PLC program (programmed manual control )
or wired external switches to I/O lines.(parallel force control )
