Explanation or reason why I had a points deduction ??

I try my best on here but for some reason I've had 99 points deducted for 'threads'. I was also logged out at the same time.
Logging in was easy enough, thank goodness I wasn't barred completely! I would like to know why the points disappeared though, if it was some felony on my part I'll be sure not to do it again.

The visitor message feature has been removed because many users were taking advantage of the feature to post advertisements.
All the visitor posts were deleted so all the points related to that were lost.
