Re: difference Between Managed and unmanaged switch
a managed switch can be configured from a remote terminal , usually , from the server.
from the server terminal , the admin can configure the switch , say , for speed etc for each port.
an unmanged switch is a simple switch. just connect and no configuration from the server.
