Looking for low cost CANBUS analyzer

Hello,

I would like to know about any good and maybe low cost canbus analyzer (sw and hw). I am thinking in something I can connect to my PC for the development of a canbus network. I mean, I would like that my pc could send and recieve commands, etc. I woudl appreciate any programme for download or sch?. Any recommendation?

it is more than enought for starting.
If you are a programmer, you can also access the driver
and write your own (small) test application.

normaly i use canview (quick and easy)
if i need trace, PCAN explorer.

if I need SDO and/or message translation and decoding,
i use canalyzer.

I'm using products from PE*K Sys|em Techn.k and would add some infos to the one of HugoRatlos. The stated features are available since PC*N exp|orer 2, the latest version (3) is much more powerful and allows to
detect and display error frames, has e. g. a line writer and some other great goodies.
If you are interested in recording / replaying prerecorded C*N messages they also offer some tool.

my experience with softi.. - OK.
I use AC1 with my own software. -> OK
I use OPC Server (Profibus and CAN) -> OK

softi.. sells also canalyzer from vector.
x-analyzer ist here own product - no experience.
