Hello,

I downloaded a .s2p file of a specific capacitor and I would like to create a "box" / .cir of it usable in a Linesim (Hyperlynx) simulation.
Can't find how to do that from the user guide.

Thx,

YH.

First of all, direct conversion is not possible.

Before converting it to .CIR, are you sure that your LineSim is enabled with GHz option ? if not then this conversion is of no use. If your LineSim is enabled with GHz option, then you don't have to convert the .S2P to .CIR because there are engines in HypeLynx GHz that does this job for you :) Please have a look at this product demo : SPICE Model Import into HyperLynx Analog: Part 3 - Mentor Graphics
