Wireless Broadband

Hi:

Across the road from my House, is a Local College with Wireless Broadband.

Is there some Device I can build, that will give me Access to their Broadband for free.

Any input wellcome !

the device you need is like linksys wrt54g ap, 69$, much cheaper than your own build. i don't think you can access for free except you have their access acount.

btw, if you can set up your wireless access point with cable modem internet access, you can share it with you neighbors asking for, say, 20$ per, :wink: not save but make $ :p

They may be willing to set you up with an account for a small fee. Schools are always looking for more funds.
