Hello all,
Anyone designed a digital earth resistance tester using PIC controller ???
Can someone point me the right direction on this issue ?
Thanks in advance.

One thing to keep in mind on the analog portion is to use a high voltage AC signal at a frequency that is not related to the mains frequency. Also it is best to use the four point method of connecting to the earth.

Hi,
Look in EPE magazine April and may issue 2003. How mentioned flatulent you need high voltage AC but EPE resistivity logger use 5 v.
Best,

In the old days there were instruments for this with a hand crank HT generator. They would not have had this extra expense to the product if there were no situations where it was needed.
