What's principle of this analog circuit?

I may say... I simulated it and I couldn't find a well defined relation between Io and Iin. I thought it might be a more precise BJT low-level current mirror than the simpler versions, but I didn't get this result after simulation. Obviously if R is made larger, Io/Iin becomes smaller (though not constant for this circuit). Hope others could help you more.

looks like a current source. Try checking its temperature dependence.
