hey
i have a problem using isd2590 voice ic.I record and then playback..... its fine. the problem is It does not playback after using a week or some days. Its reliability depends on time. When we playback after some days there comes shhhhhhhh noise like there is nothing recorded in it. we have to record again. Is there any issue in ic or i am doing anything wrong in my circuit. I am using same circuit as in figure 6 at ISD2590
i am also attaching the schematic i am using.

I will be obliged if someone can point some issue.

Check output pins timing during iprogram start .
It is desirable to build a truth table with output pins ( P/R , PD, CE ) to evaluate if some prohibited combination are being performed by your program.

thanx for your suggestions. the problem was , CE pulse coming from microcontroller was not giving 0 volts at voltage level 0. so ISD2590 sometimes accepted this voltage as low pulse and sometimes not. When i gave 0 volts from ground it worked fine.

Did you check at datasheet, what is the minimum aceptabe time width to this pulse ?
