Hello

Now I am thinking about synchronous buck converter.
In low side gate driver, It seems to be easy but real design is not.
How to supply the low side gate driver block if the VCC is over 12V
Low side gate operating voltage is 5V....

First I tried to design 5V regulator. But not enough capacitance. ( No space and no Package Pin)
So regulator output which load is low side gate driver is varied too much.
It affects to the rising time of gate driver signal...
and my desinged short through circuit is broken by power of low side gate driver.

Can anyone give me some good idea about such a synchronous buck converter low side gate driver?

Thanks in advance

Design a 12V->5V linear regulation for Low side gate driver.
Please use NMOS source follower for output stage. It will improve load response.
