define inductance

Hi
I want to make 100-400KHz power transformer with standard toroids
How can i calculate this easily (turns/volt and core section vs power)
Thanks

core section

I have looked at what is call the power density of the core and found it to be commensurate with the size of the transformer. In other words any core you use will probably be ok. The problem I found is finding the large maget wire for higher current applications. I have tried using small magnet wire bundled together but it did not obey the inductance law as well as it should. If you can find the large magnet wire you should have no problem in winding you own.

you can use eda soft power456 to calculate it,it is very easy.
or,go to www.powerint.com,that have much article about this calculation.
