Hello,
Kindly advise about the following issue
I want to know the current cabability of the +5V pins of the PCI socket existed in the computer because i want to supply my designed board with the +5V from the PCI socket
BR

a safe value for 5v pci card is to draw a maximimum current of 1 to 1.5Amps.

As far as I know, 5A @ 5V are specified in PCI 2.3 But the total power drawn from the slot is limited at 25 W as well.

infact , there are two types.
one 7.5w and other 25w cards.
