Hi,

Does making an LLC resonant converter with an “integrated” transformer (transformer incorporating high leakage inductance) give any performance benefits over using a separate resonant inductor and transformer?

I'm pretty sure it's to give best power density. Maybe a cost benefit, but I'm not sure.

Also eem2am1, all these LLC converter and transformer questions are great, but they probably don't each need their own threads...
