Hi,
I'm having a divergence problem for modelling msm photodetector in three dimension.It says potential is too large.cannot trap.bias step cut back for 5 times.If anybode could say how to solve this problem.Also how to define doping for three dimensional structure.I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.Regards,

"It says potential is too large,bias step cut back for 5 times", so you should decrease the voltage step. for example, if you want to apply a voltage of 5V to the gate of MOS transistor, you should use:
solve Vgate = 1
solve Vgate = 2
solve Vgate = 3
solve Vgate = 4
solve Vgate = 5

if convergence problem also exists ，you maybe decrease the voltage step again.
certainly, there are a lot of factor can result in the convergence, such as structure, method, mesh and so on
