Quartus II v4.0 Fails compiling project with MIF file

when i try to compile a project that has links to mif files, compile process won't continue (without any error message) i've waited up to 1 hour
but if i move the mif files (quartus won't find em) same project compiles quickly please help


P.S. there's a line in Quartus II v4.0 SP1 what's new page that says somthing about mif files but i didn't see any difference (same problem with SP1 applied)


pleas help
 

dont use mif file,just use hex
