pendrive to pendrive copier

please help me to design a pendrive to pendrive data copier without using a pc or laptop.......give the suggesstions from the scratch......

i think you first need to understand how USB works. You can not normally connect a serial to USB converter to a pen drive. you need a USB host device, what is you plan to use...

unless you know the operation of USB and OTG concepts dont start...

@ckshivram Hey I understand you have a very good conceptual knowledge about this topic .
I wish to implement the the same project but want to add the additional feature of giving the user the option to select folders through a display and buttons
I was thinking of employing an ARM7tdmi i wish to knw whether that is a good option ?
can you suggest links about the same and further would I need to use an OS ?
