I need to set up Rf communication between PIC 18F. Is there any simple protocol which can account for packet loss and error detection? How to ensure reliability?

actually usefull post has been deleted. well, let's try again.

you have 3 options
1)use ECC
2)use check sum
3)use syncro pulse

what kind of rf module do you use? the protocol can be depended of rf module. Manchester coding is simple. Add the Msg lost detection and crc and booth gives you a strong communication base.

visit radiometrix (co.uk i think)
