Iam not sure how it works..

maybe you can try this way

update your existing schematics to a PCB and forms a pcb board with board boundaries defines.

then save the pcb file as spectra.dsn file..i think it will work
but not a final clue..iam just learning too
 

synq is right. yes it is right way. I tried it to make an interface. Specctra is routed but i can't rollback the project to PRotel.
 

You input the DXP schematic netlist to DXP PCB. Place the components, then export a Specctra .DSN file. The .DSN contains the physical coordinates of the components, and the netlist information.

Route the board in Specctra, then save the result as a Specctra .RTE file. With the DXP PCB file open, import the .RTE file (File>Import menu). The .RTE file contains all the route information from Specctra.

That is all there is to it. You will need to clean up the incomplete routes, and make sure the hole sizes for vias and pads are correct once the file is back into DXP PCB.
