Does anyone know how to replace the fuse (HP-5342A) for the 10Hz-500Mhz input? I unscrewed the BNC connector but the fuse want pull out. Is one end soldered to the circuit board?

Thanks, Fred

The fuse is not soldered , it is strongly in its cabinet . Maybe the fuse go out , if you put the whole item to the top , then shake it . Or put a small nail into the fuse cabinet . If this fail , you must remove the complete fuse cabinet . Refer to the service manual . It is at the Agilent homepage . Good Luck .
