hi

how can i calculate power required by rf transmitter to send a signal at some distance? for example if i want to send a signal 10Km how much power should the transmitter require to send it, considering frequency 100Mhz and omnidirectional antenna?

and how can this be applicable to directional antenna?

thanks

Hi, how sensitive receiver? What is the gain of directional antenna? That is the hint
