I found the document attached online on how to design a rectangular microstrip patch antenna using a coaxial feed. Just go through the design procedure and modify it for elliptical patch. And go through some books of microstrip antenna design, you might find exact design procedure on how to determine the location of the feed point for the co-axial feed.
