lna design for gps

What kind of help do you want?

discussion about feasiblility? design procedure? topology decision?

You have to provide more information about your project and what you want.

For example, which process do you use? CMOS? BiCMOS? GaAs?

or Hybrid amplifier?

Sincerely.

Prof.Thomas Lee and Dr.Shaeffer, of stanfod, can themselves help you...
I am not joking...Dr.Shaeffer has designed a GPS LNA as part of his work
go here...you will find how he has done his design..

his work is considered as pioneering for the LNA design...you can also read his legendary paper

Derek K. Shaeffer and Thomas H. Lee, "A 1.5V, 1.5 GHz CMOS Low Noise Amplifier," IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, May 1997, pp. 745-759.

GPS LNA has many choices, you can refer the ASIC chips of maxim corp. maybe you can obtain some help.

Hi

you can design a circuit with two MAAM12021 ic preamplifier by Macom.
This is an eccellent high gain low noise amplifier and it just needs some external bypass capacity to work, you can ask to Macom for free samples.
