Hi my one of the friends is doing project for implementation of firewall on FPGA kit but his FPGA kit Spatran 3E starter kit is having only one ethernet port(RJ-45) port.
He require two ports to test his firewall.
Is there any interface for putting additional ethernet port on Spatran 3E
Thanks

You can add as many Ethernet ports you can fit on any FPGA, but you still need an Ethernet Phy for each Ethernet Port.

I believe Digilent manufactures that dev board. In that case you could use a , which would allow you to build a custom Ethernet PHY. Most of their PMODs are quite reasonable in price.

Ciao
