Hello

I need to know the ESR of the ceramic capacitor from the TDK C series (C3225X7R2A105K)

It is 1210 50V X7R 1uF

https://media.digikey.com/PDF/Data Sheets/TDK PDFs/C3225,4532,5750 (0J,1A,1C,1E,1H).pdf

-There is no indication as to what the ESR would be , or as to what the tolerance on ESR may be from a batch of these capacitors.

I also wish to know the ESR at different frquencies, eg 1KHz, 10KHz 100KHz 200KHz

(this cap will be used as a series SEPIC capacitor

Hi,
It is sometimes stated in the datasheet, but I think that the best and probably most accurate way of measuring the ESR is by using an ESR meter.
Picture of mine collected from Portugal:

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Thankyou Tahmid and Keith.

Keiths data gives ESR = 0.1R at 10KHz for a 1210 1uF ceramic.

-it's more than i was expecting but still seems high
