Hi All,

I was thinking of measuring the angle between mechanical limbs using a potentiometer. I'll just reference the degree depends upon the impedance of the potentiometer at a given angle. I know it's possible. But the problem is, how do I read the resistance of the potentiometer using ADC of PIC??? It's ADC that I'm going to use right?...

Please give me an idea on how am I going to do it...

Many thanks!

Configure the potentiometer as a voltage divider, connecting the terminals to ground and Vref of the ADC. Then connect the wiper to the ADC input pin.
