Hi,

sorry for the silly question, but I am looking to drive some Nixie tubes using a HV shift register like the HV5522. Now the problem is that I need to use a PIC with a frequency of 10MHz (for accurate timing reasons). The datasheet for the HV5522 states that the maximum clk is 8MHz, how would I realistically be able to have the two communicate with each other?

Thanks in advance

Dear friend,

You never bothering about HV5522 clock.Because it minimum clk frequency is not mentioned ,so you can use any clock frequency.Actually clock means a pulse, easy way to generate clk is make a output pin status from low to high, then it act as clock pulse.
