When should I add 2D reg to the waveform window in Simvision

anyone have any idea why when i add a 2D reg to the waveform window (ie [2:0] blah [15:0]) it refuses to display any of the signals.. once i try it without it it works fine..

Simvision doesn't support the 2D memory signal. You may try other waveform tools.

well thats pretty sad then.. cause it specifically says in the manual that it does support it and how to add them to the wave window.. Also, modelsim didn't bitch at all when I tried it in that..
