Hi..

I designed a microstrip bandpass filter in Ansoft Designer 4. I want to import this into circuit design. So I exported the Mag/Phase details of the S parameters in
.s2p format. (S11 S21 S12 S22 Mag/Phase). In the .s2p file, I also included the
# GHz S MA R 50

In the Nexxim circuit design, Project -Add Model - Add NModel and imported the data and I could see the S-parameters being exported correctly in the Network Data tab, but when i click OK, I could not see the 2-port model in the layout.

Please help me how to solve this problem.

Thanks,
Subash.

In Desinger, look at your project manager window, where your analysis is setup, and look at the bottom of the window. You will see a folder called "definitions" expand it and you will see a folder called "models" expand this and you will see your Nport model. You can then click and drag it onto the Designer circuit layout editor.

Have fun :)

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.
