Dear all,

I would like to simulate coupled coil, for example 3D solenoids or planar inductors.

As the received power depends on numerous parameters (number of turns, distance, symmetry, frequency, permeability, even unconsidering non-linear phenomenoms), so magnetic field produced and received, simulation seems useful.

Do you recommend some open-source software, or methods for achieving this goal?
I previously used a few open-source or free software, with not so much success...

Any information will be helpful !
Thanks a lot, in advance !

Regards

Hello,

For best results you can use and 3D EM Tool like CST Microwave studio or HFSS.

Hi akrcal,
CST and HFSS are quite not the kind of software I am looking for, because they are not open-source and/or free software.
