Hi,
Just a heads up to any young, UK-based design engineers out there about the 2010 BEEAs (British Engineering Excellence Awards).
Among the categories, we are keen to find strong nominees for the Young Design Engineer of the Year.
Last year's BEEAs' judging panel included Bloodhound guru, Richard Noble and Harry Tee CBE, Chairman of the Electronics Leadership Council.
Factors which will influence the Judges when selecting the winner of this category include: the knowledge which the young engineer has had to apply; the contribution made to the project, the degree of innovation applied and the personal qualities of the nominee, including their motivation, dedication and ability to act as an ambassador for their discipline.
Entrants for this award must be nominated by their employer and must have graduated no earlier than Summer 2006.
Now - the thing is - nominations must be made by this Friday(6th August)! So please get in quick!
