hi

i want to use an inductive amplifier to detect audio tones present on a cable in a similar way to these tone testing kits (**broken link removed**)

when a tone is detected (between 500hz and 3000hz) i want to light an led.

i also found this circuit (**broken link removed**) which may be useful.

i have no contact with the cable, so a sensitive inductive amplifier is the way forward!

thanks for reading this!
