Hi,
I am trying to use fx2 software from FPGA4U to emulate Altera USBBlaster cable. After downloading the software to the FX2, most of the time Quartus does not recognize the cable, but once in a blue moon it does recognize and I can use the cable very normally for a day till I disconnect the cable from the PC. I am really perplexed, as even when Quartus does not recognize the cable, I seem to be able to issue all JTAG commands using urjtag tool with cable type set to USBBlaster.
Is it possible to program a Cyclone device from the Altera SOF file using urjtag?
I am attaching the output from using lsusb on the USB device after downloading fx2 emulation software.
My system:
PC running 64 bit Ubuntu 9.10
Quartus 9.1 or 10.0 beta (Linux version)
