Hello,

I do 15W flyback with 230VAC mains power source.

I have 150nF capacitance on the DC bus , after the full-wave rectifier.

Do you know the equation for the peak to peak ripple on this DC bus capacitor?

Thankyou Chris,

But those book pages state that they assume t(dis) = T, and that is definetely not going to be my case, as i am deliberately using small DC bus capacitance so that the DC bus goes up and down about 150V.

-so my t(dis) is well shorter than T, and the equations don't apply to myself, malheuresement.

does any reader know of a way of findign pk-to-pk DC Buas ripple when the bus cap is small and the ripple is going to be large?
