Help me with coin counter program code

hi...

I am new at PIC programing. i m working with mikroC. i have to make a project for counting coins.I have made the code already that displays welcome message on coin counting machine but im facing problem in following area:
1.i want that when a switch is pressed at port b1 (PIC16f778A) it should display "coin dropped = 1" then if the switch is pressed again it should display "coin dropped = 2.

can u plz help

Just curious to know...Does your circuit "detects" the Coin or just senses it as an obstruction? Mean what happens if an opaque metal of the same size of the coin is dropped?

actually the circuit senses the coin... i bought the circuit from electronics shops..but i need help in programming..can u plz help...
