How does Lenz's law obey law of conservation of energy?

hi..can anybdoy tell me how does lenz's law obeys law of conservation of energy?.in some simple to understand detail plzz.awaiting your feedback..thanks
 

lenz's law

when magnetic induction produces current, energy conversion takes place. lenz's law ensures that a mechanical effort is made to produce current thus obeying law of conservation of energy.
