Hi Guys,

I know there are tons of CMOS analog design books out there, but which book is the simplest and easiest to understand concepts of analog CMOS design?

I would prefer a book with practical hands on CMOS analog design concepts vs. just equations.

I have read Razavi but I feel it does not explain the concept in simple terms. I don't mind equations but would like to understand the meaning and the concept of the equation from design point of view.

Thanks.

Re: Good book with simple explanations for CMOS analog desig

If you have a decent background in circuit design I would say go with Baker (CMOS Circuit Design, Layout, and Simulation) the theory is kinda weak (he doesn't go through derivations of any kind, so if you're not familiar with a subject you might get lost) but he has a lot of helpful circuits with numerical examples that help quite a bit when you're getting started on IC design.

Regards,
