I am looking for a chipset equivalent to the old SigmaTel STMP3500 which no longer exists. What is the most integrated, industry standard MP3 chipset at the moment?

Maybe the equivalent Freescale device?

How about the Atmel at89c51snd1?

Has anybody worked with one of these chips?

Where can I get the SDK and reference software so as not as starting the development from scratch?
