starting with micro controllers . pic or 8051 ?

pllzz tell . which micro controller should i start with . 8 bit pic or 8051 ..

Hi,
I'd say, between PIC and 8051, PIC, but you should take a look at AVR, eg ATmega88. I used PICs earlier, but now happily using AVR in all my applications. I found them cheaper comparatively and same, if not better, peripherals.
8051, I haven't used. But PIC is very good. So is AVR.

I would suggest to do some trial projects with 8051 which is simple and easy to learn. Afterwards you can try either PIC or AVR.

The entry point for a newbee is 8051

Agreed with Nandhu. For a start go for 8051. 6 months of practical work on 8051 and you are ready for switching on to PIC or AVR.
