Brain of the system is Atmega processor. It has so many functions that makes it very popular.
System has 8 relay's outputs, them job is to turn on and turn off electric devices (depened on kind of device could be 220V AC powered or DC for example 12V. Steering system could remember at EEPROM memmory, level of all outputs, so after outage, outputs are again active.
System communicate with PC via RS-232 joint. At PC we have to install application that let to steer outputs.
Currently a new application is on building phase. It could read from driver, condition of actually active outputs that will allow to check tool condition in case e.g. when device is closed at casing so impossible is to check diodes. Program works with any COM port using WinAPI
It's a basic version, that could be upgrade to USB , LAN , Bluetooth communication.
Here you can find windows software **broken link removed**
At: http://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic1467035.html you can find board in KiCad. There is also diagram to download. Diagram is simplified couse in KiCad I don't have some elements like for example ULN2803 and more.
