Hi
Now, I'm trying to simulate LDPC over GF(q).
At this time I can simulate only the LDPC encoder over gf(q).
but I've some problems about LDPC decoder over gf(q).

(this is the paper that I try to follow : **broken link removed**)

Does anybody know about Decoding algorithm for LDPC over GF(q) ? :!:
Could you please suggest me how to start on decoder over gf(q) ?

Thank you in advance :D

see error correction coding by Todo K. Moon 2005

Chapter 15 of error correction coding by Todd K. Moon 2005
provides decoding algorithms for LDPC code.
It gives some decoding examples about binary LDPC code.
But I cannot extend the algorithm into nonbinary
Could you please give me an detailed example or matlab file ?

chapter one and two ?
Could you please guide me anymore ?

i started to study the channel coding since some days ago. I started with the book that i tolled you about it before. I found in chapter one and two all the necessary theorems that will make you understand your problem in a good manner.

Hi Aya2002
I would like to thank you for advising me.
Are you interested in nonbinary channel coding ?

indeed i am not decided my interesting coding method i am still study to build a good background then i will decide.

I am new to LDPC coding. Would like to know if LDPC is systematic or non systematic?

The codewords of LDPC code are in systematic form

I am not sure about systematic form. The code I downloaded from kozintsev website gives non systematic codes.

Any idea ?

Systematic form :
The last k bits or first k bits of codeword is the message bits.
k = number of message bit
?
