Diode rectenna

When i look at the S-parameters of my RF diode, it seems to be conducting both ways. Does anybody know why we to connect the diode in parallel with the capacitor to avoid this problem?

BTW I'm building a rectenna and the diode and capacitor are part of my rectifying circuit.

thanks
