crossprobing

When I select something in an OrCAD Capture schematic it always zooms right in on the part in Allegro PCB layout when I have "intertool communication" turned on.

I like the intertool communication (cross probing) but I want it to stop zooming in on the selected part in the layout. I would like it to just highlight the part. Is there any way to shut off the zooming?

If I select something in the layout, it only highlights it in the schematic, it doesn't zoom in on it, which is OK.

Go to setup->User Pref...->Input->No dynamic Zoom unselect it.

hope this will help you

That worked. Thanks! I found all kinds of useful things in the Setup > User Preferences dialogs. However, I tried changing the cursor to "infinite" and it didn't work.

Thanks,
- Leonard
