sim card protocol

H all, i learnt that the mobile sim card used by mobile phones has got in it some pool of memory, about 128kbytes. pls can someone tell me what protocol is supported by this sim card for interfacing to a microcontroller. thanks

ETSI TS 102 221 is specifying the SIM card protocol. You can download the document at etsi.org
