what does 433.92MHz stand for??

433.92mhz

hi all,
I am involved in the design of RF based transmission.I am using HT12E & HT12D along with tx and rx modules in my project.I was said that the entire RF system works at433.92MHz frequency.

what is that 433.92MHz ...is it the clock frequency for Encoder/Decoder or Transmitter module or the data transmission frequency??
 

what is mhz stand for

It's the RF carrier frequency.
