hspice biaschk

Hi,

I have been trying to use the '.biaschk' option in hspice to find out the operating regions of the mosfet in my netlist - but it returns a warning saying that it is not able to find the particular model although the model files have been included in the .sp/.spi file.

The following is the syntax and the warning that is coming in the .lis file:

.biaschk mos region=saturation region=linear region=cutoff mname=nmostox33

warning: model nmostox33 defined in .biaschk cannot be found in netlist--ignored

Thanks,
Shravan

to use bias check command card in hspice, do not use .prot/unprot command card.

and check your hspice log file. you will see a warning message like this

** warning ** : model xxx defined in .biaschk cannot be found in entlist -- ignored
